The Imagine Music & Arts logo pairs a soft, fluidity of motion with kid-oriented typography to illustrate this music and arts school in Norman, Oklahoma. The abstract bird works to represent both audio and visual artistry.
I designed this propaganda-style digital illustration to pair with the short story “Health for All” by Cuban science-fiction author Yoss. The intentional repetition of the poster alludes to the pervasive presence of an invasively controlling health campaign in this work of dystopian fiction. Yoss’s short story can be read in the November 2018 issue of World Literature Today.

Designed for World Literature Today magazine’s 90th year of continuous publication. My concept centered on conveying modernity while also referencing the rich history of the magazine.
My illustration for the cover of the September 2011 issue of World Literature Today started from a doodle of a man walking with book stilts. The cover feature, “Poetry Untethered,” ended up with this final iteration of a person sitting and reading in the clouds.
I built this website for photographer Yousef Khanfar, who was promoting his Invisible Eve photography series that documents the lives of incarcerated women in Oklahoma.
