DiscoverEats aims to put the “nB” in AirBnB, VRBO, hotel, decked-out-airstream or wherever vacationers stay during their trip to Austin. This start-up aims to satisfy the early-order and tourist dining markets while also providing a platform for restaurants and private chefs to more easily serve these unique buyer personas. My work on this full marketing project includes branding, web design, social media strategy, and copywriting.
I focused on minimally referencing the food and beverage industry in the brandmark. The typography marries the shapes together with similar curves and points—Semplicita Pro’s lowercase “a” is divine.
I centered my copywriting and design strategy for DiscoverEat’s website around enforcing the brand’s roots in Austin and educating restaurants, chefs, and the target buyer persona about DiscoverEats unique value offering.
Through icons, imagery, and a confident yet conversational tone-of-voice, I designed a minimal landing page that establishes calls-to-action for both the target market and the restaurants and chefs joining DiscoverEats.
To establish the brand’s voice through marketing, I designed and wrote an initial batch of social media posts to build interest and provide digestible entry points for each of DiscoverEat’s unique offerings.
The birds-eye-view showcases a consistent aesthetic weaved throughout each post to build the brand’s story.
The app will be launching in October 2021 and DiscoverEats is inviting new customers as well as restaurants and chefs into their network with some enticing offers for free food experiences!
