Marketing guru Sarah Stahl needed a logo refresh and a book designed from cover to cover. We ended up with an energizing color palette and a bold, expressive overall design for both the book and her branding. My work on this project included branding design, book cover design, and typesetting for the hard cover, paperback, and ebook edition of the book.
My design solution for Sarah’s logo pairs bold and fluid lines. The globe of the lightbulb unites with the weight of the sans-serif typeface and the base of the brandmark provides a steady movement similar to the bold script, creating two intentional “s” shapes in the flowing scribble. This would look pretty stellar as a turquoise and orange neon sign!
I joined typesetting and infographic design in the interior of the book using consistent styling for headings, drop caps and body text. From cover to cover I established familiarity with the branding while creating a fresh look and feel for the book.
